Ecological zoo area with the concept of animal habitat

We tried to imagine a zoo in which people, animals and nature prosper together, using a semi-open space to blend the conflicting relationship between buildings and nature, and define the use of a contemporary zoo as a relaxing and green leisure park.

Architectural language that conforms to the natural curve

The deep eaves and corridors designed with the contours of the terrain as the concept, to satisfy the large sunshade needs of southern Taiwan, also create more possibilities for interaction between man and nature. In the volume plan, we reduced the volume of the building and designed a large amount of terrace space on the second floor, to display the space for native shrubs in Taiwan, and also allows the building to be more integrated with natural façade elements.

Considering the existing suspension bridge tower as one of the important communication lines, we renovated its architectural language and connected it to the balcony corridor on the second floor. Creates a park that is an animal friendly leisure park which is surrounded by greenery and flowers, birds and animals contending.
